In the Beast Wars series, Terrorsaur is one of Megatron 's (Predacon version) most dangerous lieutenants. In his Pteranodon form, he soars over battlefields and attacks ferociously from the air.

However, his boundless ambition often leads him to betray Megatron in the hopes of seizing power. Terrorsaur is both a warrior and a conspirator, willing to do anything to become the leader of the Predacons.

Terrorsaur is a predator built to dominate the skies. Its flight speed, agility, and ranged arsenal make it a key tactical asset for the Predacons. It prefers to strike quickly before disappearing into the clouds.

In several episodes, he even manages to briefly take control of the Predacons, before falling—often through his own arrogance. His tragic death in a lava flow remains one of the series' defining moments.

Terrorsaur represents a classic archetype of the Transformers universe: the ambitious, brilliant, but unstable second. He embodies the desire for dominance, ego, and internal competition among Predacons.

Despite his early end, he remains one of the most prominent symbols of the Beast Wars series, and has inspired several modern reissues and figures in the Kingdom and Rise of the Beasts ranges.
